Hybrid-Flexing Faceoff Heads

Hybrid-flexing faceoff heads have been brought into the light as of recently. This type of flex has been around since the Nike CEO became a popular option for faceoffs, yet most guys didn't use this type of flex with it. It wasn't until Warrior released the Burn FO and the Burn FOrmula that then brought the hybrid flex the attention of the faceoff athlete. By the nature of its name, the hybrid flex is essentially a combination of both traditional and face flexing heads. With the Burn FO and Formula being designed with asymmetrical sidewalls, these heads almost force the athlete to put them into a hybrid flex.

Characteristics of a Hybrid-Flexing Head:

 

- Hard left sidewall bend upon flexion

- Diagonal flexion

- Left sidewall matches direction of right sidewall upon flexion

- Left top sidewall folds inside of left bottom rail upon flexion
