FAQ's
How Does the App work?
GKL+ React works by utilizing the faceoff athlete's camera on their smartphone to detect their reaction time. React will audibly play the standard "down" and "set" commands, followed by a whistle. Once the whistle is played, React's internal timer will begin. The faceoff athlete reacts to the whistle, and once their head enters the area of detection, the internal timer will stop. React will then audibly read what the internal timer says, thus giving the faceoff athlete their reaction time.
Does The App Help Improve My Reaction Time?
GKl+ React is NOT designed to replace traditional faceoff training. Instead, it is intended to be use as a supplemental tool that will give faceoff athletes real-time feedback on how their training is progressing. GKL+ React is simply putting data to the faceoff athletes training and progression. React takes the guesswork out of training.
What Makes Your App Different Than Other Training Apps?
GKL+ React is the first of its kind. Our app uses never-before-seen technology that captures the reaction time of a faceoff athlete. No, GKL+ React is not a random whistle-playing app. Our app gives immediate data to the faceoff athlete after every faceoff taken during a session. React also keeps track of every faceoff taken while using the app and will present the data on visual graphs to show how your reaction time is progressing.
